This live usability testing took place at the CMS Expo, Usability Testing Workshop.
Task: Choose a budgeting software, ask for demo
Scenario: Your company needs a web-based budgeting software, choose a budget, find a request for information, ask for a demo.
Usability Testing Notes:
- Looks like a beta site, overly simplistic
- Doesn't understand what they do
- Can't find the word "budget"
- Tester is irritated
- Would go to Google and find something else
- Design not professional
- Tester wants to see bullet points of what they are offering, plus testimonials
- Can't find where to submit information. Won't call. May email them.
